espresso

A small tool that pulls a perfect shot, every time. It reads the grind size, dose and water temperature, then tunes the pre-infusion so the extraction lands between 25 and 30 seconds.

Install

cargo install espresso

Use

Command What it does
espresso pull Pull one shot with the current profile
espresso dial --dose 18g Dial in a new bean
espresso log Show the last ten shots

Tip: grind finer when the shot runs fast, coarser when it chokes.
